  I would not recommend anyone to deal with The Key Exchange. We waited months on a new build and went through a horrendous experience, which fell through because "the architect's measurements were wrong", meaning there would be more 2 bed flats and less 1 bed flats. Their solution was to put our names into a hat with all the other purchasers to see who would get what they asked for (even though we paid a reservation fee). We were then told due to the length of time that had passed since reserving the flat that the price had gone up by around 30k. When we questioned how they could do this after paying them money to hold the flat, the response was "It's actually more of a good will fee!". In the end we had to pull out of the purchase as the developers run out of money (according to Companies House they are now insolvent) and the flats were sold by another agent, almost 2 years later!
  
  They have obviously gone through a rebrand and think people may have forgotten, but I would urge anyone be very careful dealing with them.
